By using the Services, you agree that your use of the Services is governed by this Policy. We may update this Policy from time to time, and we encourage you to check it periodically for updates. Your continued use of the Services affirms your agreement to any changes we make to this Policy.

2. Information We Collect About You
 

Registration Information. To access and use certain features, content, or functions of the Services—such as contributions, communication and networking features, or promotions—you may be asked to provide certain information. This may include your name, username, password, email address, date of birth, gender, mailing address, employment information, and other descriptive information.
 

Contributions and Payment Information. If you make a contribution or purchase through the Services, we and/or our third-party payment processors may collect your payment information, such as your credit or debit card type, card number, expiration date, and related information, including your billing or physical address.
 

To comply with applicable campaign finance laws, we may be required to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer name and address of individual contributors. Generally, contributions are nonrefundable.

For example, we may collect information you provide when you update your user account or profile (“User Account”); participate in contests, surveys, or other promotions; or sign up to receive emails, action alerts, and other communications.

We may also use location information to improve the functionality of Independent Common Sense Apps and our other applications and services.
 

If you do not want us to collect or use this location information, you may opt out by disabling location and Bluetooth features on your Device and/or within the Independent Common Sense Apps. You may choose not to provide certain information, but doing so may prevent you from accessing certain content or using certain features of the Services.

You make Submissions at your own risk and without an expectation of privacy. 4. Opting Out of Certain Uses of Your Information
 

User Account Privacy Settings. You may be able to adjust certain privacy, permission, and User Account settings by responding to alerts or notifications presented on your Device before or after the relevant information is collected.
 

You may also be able to adjust these settings by navigating to the settings, account, or privacy section of your Device or the applicable third-party platform and limiting certain Service functions, such as location services.
 

If you limit the collection of certain information, you may not be able to use all features and functions of the Services.

Opting Out of Information Collected Through Tracking Technologies.
